GreenEvents are events that are planned, organized and implemented according to sustainability criteria. The key factors here are the use of environmentally friendly products, energy efficiency, waste management, regional value creation and social responsibility. In order for organizers to receive the "GreenEvent" or "going GreenEvent" award, they must implement criteria from the above-mentioned subject areas.
Having your own event certified can be a good step in the direction of positive transformation. This achievement can of course also be communicated to participants, to inform about the change which is happening.
